Buttler was dismissed for 36 runs off 25 balls, while Shahrukh Khan also scored the same number of runs.
Sai Sudarshan played a brilliant innings of 82 runs off 53 balls, holding one end. Rahul Tewatia scored 24 runs off 12 balls and Rashid Khan scored 12 runs off 4 balls. In the end, Gujarat scored a strong score of 217 runs after losing 6 wickets in the allotted overs.
In reply, only Shimron Hetmyer among the Rajasthan batsmen was able to put up a fight against the Gujarat bowlers. He scored 52 runs off 32 balls. Sanju Samson scored 41 runs off 28 balls, and Riyan Parag scored 26 runs off 14 balls. However, none of the other batsmen could reach double figures.
